The museum houses about five hundred instruments from different periods and cultures, a collection that is considered one of the most important in Spain. Structured in different areas and through audiovisuals (with music, image and text), the Museum of Music invites visitors to approach the world of music in a direct and vivid way, and discover how it has been the vehicle of ‘ expression and communication of humans in the course of history.
El museu acull prop de cinc-cents instruments de diferents èpoques i cultures, una col·lecció que està considerada com una de les més importants de l’Estat espanyol. Estructurat en diferents àmbits i a través d’audiovisuals (amb música, imatge i text) el Museu de la Música convida el visitant a aproximar-se al món de la música d’una manera directa i vivencial, i a descobrir com ha estat vehicle d’expressió i comunicació dels humans en el decurs de la història.
